The SLEX Protest Ride August 11, 2001

After the court Writ was issued on July 16 2001 stating that the ban on motorcycles was void and illegal the PNCC defied the courts and still refused to allow motorcycles on the freeways. On August 11 a large group of riders decided to get evidence that the PNCC where illegally stopping riders, issuing tickets and taking their licenses.

The Bikes used by the PNCC on the tollways to enforce the ban on bikes (now a ban on bikes under 400cc) are 125cc to 175cc badly maintained little low speed cruisers.
